A New York native from the Hudson Valley, Diana has lived in various places both domestically and abroad before settling in Georgia for the past seven years. Her diverse background spans education, health, state & local government, city planning, and community development, all of which contribute to her personal mission of promoting “equity of opportunity.”
Diana’s interdisciplinary education and professional experience have equipped her with the skills to advocate for and include voices often left out of impactful processes. She is also fluent in Spanish, further enhancing her ability to connect with diverse communities.
Passionate about sustainability, Diana has a keen interest in repurposing items and diverting waste from landfills. She’s an enthusiastic supporter of recycling initiatives, particularly praising CHaRM’s (Center for Hard to Recycle Materials) new DeKalb location.
An outdoor enthusiast, Diana recharges by hiking, camping, and climbing. She and her husband are proud homeowners in unincorporated DeKalb County, where they reside with their two dogs.
