Decide DeKalb Kicks Off Economic Development Week with “Make You Love Monday”
DECATUR, GA (May 6, 2025) — Decide DeKalb wants to “Make You Love Monday” by giving away free coffee and dessert on Monday, May 12, 2025, at select DeKalb County small businesses. The giveaways have been designed by Decide DeKalb to spotlight local coffee shops and dessert bars to kick off Economic Development Week 2025.
During the week, Decide DeKalb will feature programs and events that highlight the resources available within the organization and county. It’s part of a national initiative created by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) to celebrate the contributions of economic development agencies to create stronger, more resilient communities. Economic Development Week is May 12–16, 2025.
The “Make You Love Monday” coffee and sweet treat promotion will feature six DeKalb County coffee and dessert shops that will give 100 people a complimentary item. From locally roasted coffee (or tea) to frozen lemonade and ice cream, to gourmet cookies, the treat is on Decide DeKalb.
