Holly M. Smith is a dedicated professional in the political arena. She has over nine years’ experience in the areas of election management, voter registration administration, and campaign finance in the state of Georgia.
Holly is very passionate about the work she performs. She believes what she is doing is essential to the electoral process in Georgia. She makes a great effort in increasing her knowledge and learning all that she can when it comes to laws and procedures.
Holly is a certified Georgia Elections Official. She holds a BS in Marketing from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, an MS in Marketing from the J. Mack Robinson School of Business at Georgia State University, and an MPA in Public Administration from the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University.
Holly was an employee with the state of Georgia since 2013, where she began her career at the Secretary of State’s Office. She joined the Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission in December 2018, and later joined the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections in 2021. Currently, she is the executive assistant to the president of the Decide DeKalb Development Authority.
Holly believes in the importance of giving back to the community. She is an active member of the Youth Department, Mt. Gerizim Church of God Holiness, the Stone Mountain-Lithonia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and The Junior League of Atlanta Inc. She enjoys working with the youth at her church, running, working out, trying new recipes, and playing with her fur-baby Sigma.
