Communications Consultant

Decide DeKalb is seeking an experienced communications consultant to compose and design the 2019 annual report.

Key dates to remember:

February 12, 2020: RFP is released

February 25, 2020: Questions and requests for clarifications are due by 17:00 (5p) EST

February 27, 2020: Answers and clarifications are posted at decidedekalb.com (https://www.decidedekalb.com/) by 17:00 EST

March 03, 2020: RFP submissions are due by 17:00 EST

March 18, 2020: Projected start date

April 22, 2020: Projected completion date

Decide DeKalb retains the right to adjust the timeline as necessary without prior notice.

FAQ

Question 1: Do you have an overall project budget?

Answer: $35,000

 

Question 2: The 2018 report had 16 pages, what is the page expectation for 2019?

Answer: No more than 25 pages.

 

Question 3: Do you have high resolution photography for the report?

Answer: Yes, we have high-resolution photography.

 

Question 4: Do you need assistant with writing content for the report? If yes, do you need someone to write all content or edit content that is supplied to our team?

Answer: Yes, we need someone to write all the content.

 

Question 5: Are you ok with a pdf version only for the website or would you like a digital report developed?

Answer: A digital report.

 

Question 6: Do we need to design the report for both print and online?

Answer: Please design the report for online with a PDF for print as needed.

 

Question 7: Does the 10-page response limit to the RFP exclude work samples? Should they be included as an addendum? 

Answer: No, the 10-page limit includes examples of work samples; however, if you wish to show the work sample in its entirety, please added them to the addendum.

 

Question 8: May we provide digital-only files of sample work?

Answer: Digital-only files may be part of the addendum.

 

Question 9: Who is the internal point-of-contact – beyond the RFP process – for gathering the necessary data for project delivery?

Answer: Randi Mason, VP of Economic Development

 

Question 10: What 2019 information has already been compiled? Financials, data related to business development and retention, hi-res photos, video, etc.

Answer: We have compiled some information thus far, but other information may need to be complied. Our staff will perform that work – not the consultant.

 

Question 11: What is the flexibility of the proposed project start date and project completion?

Answer: Unfortunately, with the tight deadline, there is no flexibility.
