Rolanda Daniel Thomas
Vice President of Operations and Business Development
Rolanda Daniel Thomas is vice president of operations and business development for Decide DeKalb. Thomas manages the day-to-day operations of the organization and leads efforts for business attraction, retention and expansion.
Thomas served as managing director of Decide DeKalb, supporting the organization during a national search for its current president. Thomas developed a short-term plan to manage the new organization, led the marketing process to develop a new name and brand identity for the organization and laid the framework for implementing DeKalb’s first economic development plan.
Thomas received a bachelor’s from Agnes Scott College, a master’s from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a master’s from Mercer University. Thomas serves on the DeKalb Chamber’s Economic Development Committee, and is a member of the Georgia Economic Developers Association (GEDA) and International Economic Development Council (IEDC). She is a member of the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 40 Under 40 class of 2015 and a Leadership DeKalb graduate.
