Entertainment Office

Location Rich. Camera Ready.

With award-winning talent, numerous recording and production facilities, and a booming film, television, music and digital media infrastructure, DeKalb County vigorously supports metro Atlanta's ever-evolving entertainment industry. Our staff is experienced in permitting and location database management to advance your production needs, swiftly and efficiently.

The entertainment industry and workforce has been rapidly growing in DeKalb County. With more than 600 TV and film workers residing in the county and more than 120 television and film projects in 2015 managed by Decide DeKalb, the need to strenghten our entertainment infrastructure was paramount. In May 2016, the DeKalb County board of commissioners approved both a Film Permit Ordinance and an Entertainment Commission to develop a strategic plan that will help retain and attract even more entertainment projects, jobs and businesses throughout the county.
